Porsche 944 Outcast Or Outlaw

This car started its life back in 1983 and as an 8-year-old boy, I remember looking in amazement at this particular Porsche 944 model with its pop-up headlights and flared arches. Years down the line, I kept spotting these cars on the road. I had never kept any of the cars I owned as standard and I figured that modifying one of these Porsches would differ from the mainstream cars a lot of the guys are changing.

The origin

1955 Mercedes Benz 300 Slr Uhlenhaut Coupe

The rumoured $142 million 1955 Mercedes Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe has allegedly been sold by Mercedes Benz to a private collector.

The interesting fact is that even though the two Uhlenhaut Coupes were built out of the regular SLR chassis for the 1956 sports car racing season, they never saw action. This is no thanks to Mercedes pulling out from motorsports after the tragic 1955 Le Mans incident.

From Service Call to Iconic Build: The Journey of a 1967 Mustang Fastback

Jerry, who was 30 miles north of his home in Lucas, Texas, had driven out to fix a broken air conditioner in a mobile home. The property was vast, with little more than the house, a few buildings, and the mobile home on a dirt road. The car owner, wearing bib overalls and no shirt, was dealing with chickens and an old refrigerator in the front yard. Jerry helped feed the chickens and, while repairing the A/C with a simple capacitor fix, asked if the car was for sale. The owner, skeptical but intrigued, was offered $2,500 on the spot.
