The SEMA Show and the automotive aftermarket industry have long had gasoline running through their veins. With the rise in EVs from OEMs, EV swap kits and supporting products, there has been a noticeably increased interest in these technologies at the SEMA Show. That transition was obvious walking through the aisles, displays and halls of the 2022 SEMA Show. More builds are being electrified and swapping internal combustion engines for electric motors, drivetrains and battery packs.

Kevi Govender always had a passion for cars, especially the VW air-cooled kind. This passion led him to a situation where he was stumbling around in the dark at 00:30 at night in Danville, Pretoria in order to look at a 1967 VW Split Window Bus. The bus would be a father and son project. Unfortunately, Kavis father (Ravi Govender) passed away and in a twist of fate, the bus helped him through this very difficult time.

From the outset, I have to state that this is my dream car and therefore it has special significance for me. I regrettably spurned the opportunity of buying myself one 10 years ago in the hope that I would find one in a better condition. I could not have imagined that the price I would have paid then has multiplied by a factor of at least 30. It is for this reason that I followed this 1956 VW Split Window kombi home 5 years ago but no amount of money will buy it, as youll soon find out.

Ken Block is back and has unleashed his new Audi S1 twin-motors called Hoonitron. The New video is called Electrikhana.

Ken Block took to the streets of Las Vegas behind the wheel of a one-of-a-kind Audi S1 Hoonitron. The vehicle is regarded as a prototype and is worth an estimated $ 12 million.Some of the features include 800V architecture, two electric motors, an all-wheel drive, and plenty of horsepower. It appears to be enough to paint black lines up and down the most famous bit of all of Las Vegas, the Strip.

At the Paris Motor Show today the Jeep brand provided an extra thrill and surprise for its global audience by revealing the Jeep Avenger 4×4 Concept.

Announcing the 4×4 Concept at the finale of the Jeep brand press conference, Christian Meunier, Jeep brand CEO, said: The Avenger has been designed as a Jeep vehicle from the outset, and the all-electric 4×2 model already offers some of the best-in-class capabilities that identify the Jeep brand.
